 First Year Annual Fee Waiver condition:

  • The first-year annual fee for the primary card and one supplementary card will be waived upon activation and usage as per below table within 90 days from the date of issuance. If the card remains inactive beyond 90 days or if the spend condition not met, the annual fee will be applied as per the provided table above.

  • One supplementary card is complimentary, and any additional supplementary cards will incur charges.

  • Infinite card annual fees are chargeable from the date of issuance.

2.       All Other Customers:

  • Annual fees will be as specified in the provided table.
  • For subsequent years, the annual fee waiver will be contingent on meeting the annual spend criteria as described in the Annual Usage Table.

How to apply for chauffeur service?

1. NBO Signature or Infinite Credit Card holders should make a booking at least 24 hours prior to the travelling date.

2. All bookings shall be made digitally through emails only, so that it will be recorded and documented.

3. When booking request is sent to MHD Leasing at (Enquiries@mhdleasing.com) all details shall be checked carefully by the customer before confirming the request via email.

4. To register/book a trip, customers are requested to fill the document shared by MHD Leasing with all the relevant details.

5. Once the document is filled, customers can then share the same by email to above email address.

6. A receipt of mail confirmation along with confirmation number from MHD will be considered as a

booking.

7. After confirmation, the next step is the chauffeur details which will be given 24 hours before the pickup date (departure or arrival) via SMS or email.

8. Once the customer receives the chauffeur details, they can communicate directly with the chauffeur to share their location or once landing at Muscat or Salalah Airport

 

Terms & Conditions

  1. Airport transfer service can be booked and used by Primary/Main Card holder only.
  2. Airport transfer service is not applicable to Supplementary card holder.
  3. Airport transfer service is not transferable.
  4. Airport transfer service is available for 50 KM only. For any additional kilometers, customer will have to pay service provider as per applicable rates.
  5. Booking reservation shall be made for minimum 24 hours before the travel.
  6. All bookings shall be made digitally– website or e-mails only, and all shall be recorded and documented.
  7. To register/book a trip, customers are requested to fill the document shared by MHD Leasing with all the relevant details. Once the document is filled, customers can then share the same by email to the dedicated email address.
  8. Bookings are confirmed only by receiving a confirmation number from Service provider.
  9. After confirmation, next step is the chauffeur details which will be given 24 hours before the Pickup date (departure or arrival) via SMS or email.
  10. Once the customer receives the chauffeur details, they can communicate directly with the chauffeur to share their location or upon landing at Muscat International Airport.
  11. A one-way transfer is considered as 1 transfer.
  12. The minimum waiting time for an arrival is 60 minutes and for departure is 20 minutes max, however for the arrival we will extend the waiting up to another 30 minutes without any additional charges, and in case there is a delay, the customer should notify the service provider.
  13. There will be an additional charge of OMR 1 for each 30 minutes interval beyond the allowed timing.
  14. The pick-up and drop off is designed as Point A - Point B and no detour is allowed.
  15. For any detour there will be OMR 10 per 30 minutes / 20KM directly to the client and the same will be collected by the chauffeur driver.
  16. Carpooling or car sharing with another passenger is prohibited.
  17. Cancellations within 4hrs are permissible with no charge, however no-show will be charged in full, and the allowance of free transfer is deducted.
  18. In case of flight cancellation / change in flight details customers requested to notify service provider via email or WhatsApp / call to the dispatcher / driver​

Eligibility:

Airport lounge access is available to eligible Visa cardholders based on card type and meeting applicable eligibility criteria.

International Spend Requirement:

For certain cards, a minimum cumulative international spend of USD 100 or equivalent in any foreign currency (other than OMR) within the last 90 days is required prior to lounge usage. Transactions may take up to 10 days to reflect.

Eligible Cards & Usage Limits:

Lounge access, guest eligibility, and annual visit limits vary by card type (Infinite, Signature, Platinum, etc.).

Guest Access:

Guest access is subject to card type. Each guest is counted as a separate lounge visit.

Lounge Operator:

Lounge access is provided by Visa-approved third-party lounge operators. Lounge availability, facilities, and access rules may vary by location.

Capacity & Availability:

Access is subject to lounge capacity and availability at the time of visit.

Lost, Stolen or Cancelled Cards:

Lounge access is not available for lost, stolen, blocked, or cancelled cards.

Changes to Benefits:

NBO reserves the right to amend lounge access benefits, eligibility criteria, and usage limits at any time.

General:

Airport lounge access is subject to the lounge operator's terms and conditions and local regulations.

NBO Visa Airport Lounge Access – Effective 2 February 2026

1.       What has changed?

  • Visa has introduced a new eligibility requirement for certain Visa cards, effective 2 February 2026.
  • Cardholders must now complete international transactions of USD 100 or equivalent in foreign currency (other than OMR) within the last 90 days to qualify for complimentary lounge access.
  • This is a Visa policy change applied across the region and is not specific to NBO.

2.     Why has Visa Introduced this change?

  • To ensure lounge access benefits are used by actively traveling customers
  • To prioritize genuine international travelers and reduce misuse
  • To help manage lounge overcrowding globally
  • To maintain service quality and availability for eligible customers
  • To align lounge access with actual international card usage

This helps Visa and lounge operators maintain better experience for customers who travel internationally.

3.      Eligible NBO Cards (No Change to Card Types)

Visit limits remain the same — the main change is the spend eligibility requirement.

4.      New spend requirement

For some cards, customers must now:

  • Spend USD 100 or equivalent in foreign currency (other than OMR)
  • Within the last 90 days
  • On international (POS or E-commerce) transactions
  • Allow up to 10 days for spend to reflect in the system

If this is not met, lounge access may be declined or charged by the lounge operator.

5.       What staff should tell customers?

Visa has recently updated its lounge access policy. To ensure the benefit is used by active international travelers and to reduce overcrowding, Visa now requires a minimum international spend of USD 100 or equivalent in the last 90 days for some cards. This is a Visa-wide change and applies to all banks in Oman.​​
