A national payment card in the Sultanate of Oman, regulated by the Central Bank of Oman, issued by local banks, and accepted by licensed payment service providers across the Sultanate.

It offers cardholders a secure and seamless payment experience through an integrated national system for issuing, processing, and settling card transactions.​

• Ability to make payments on local websites, settle bills, use government services, pay via mobile apps, and access the ATM/CDM network that supports the OmanNet payment gateway.

​Where can the card be used?
It is accepted at ATMs, CDMs, and POS terminals across Oman. POS usage will be enabled gradually throughout the rollout period.

Do I need to replace my existing card with the National Card?
No, you don't need to replace your current card. This card is an additional option specifically for local transactions, while your existing card can still be used for international purchases.

Can I use this card abroad or while traveling?
No, this card is intended solely for use within Oman.
