What is an API?
Known as API, Application Programming Interface, is a technology that enables two systems to communicate securely and efficiently. 

What is NBO Gateway?

The NBO Gateway is the bank’s own API. It allows businesses to connect directly to our banking services, such as payments, inquiries, and collections, through their own platforms.

Who can use NBO Gateway?

NBO Gateway is available for:

  • Corporate customers
  • Government and semi-government entities
  • Licensed fintech and third-party providers under Open Banking​​
How can I register or access the API Gateway?

What are the onboarding requirements?
To onboard, you must register, provide legal documentation, obtain sandbox access, and  undergo technical testing. Once you email us, our team will guide you through the entire process.

Can retail users access APIs?
No. API access is limited to registered corporate entities, government bodies, and licensed thi​rd-party providers.

What services are offered through the APIs?
The APIs cover a wide range of business banking services, including access to account-related data and transaction history. Specific services will be shared during the onboarding process based on your business needs.
