To provide leadership to Islamic banking Corporate banking and be responsible for the development, management and growth of Islamic banking corporate banking department including, but not limited to, business target achievement, client relationship management, delivery channel and human capital development.

  • Provide leadership to Islamic Corporate banking department especially in terms of technical knowledge of Islamic Banking products and services and take ownership of the P&L of the business;
  • Plan, organize, direct and control Islamic banking corporate banking activities and resources to ensure profitability and cost effectiveness in order to meet set business objectives and annual budget;
  • Assess market conditions, define, recommend, implement and monitor corporate banking strategy in order to gain and sustain the bank's competitive edge and results.
  • Identify customer needs, build and maintain client relationships by attending to inquiries, resolving queries and providing the required Corporate client business needs;
  • Proactively manage the risk management framework for Islamic Corporate Banking;
  • Guide and direct Relationship Managers to monitor control and follow up classified accounts in order to avoid new NPAs and improve profitability.
  • Partner with internal stake holders source for strategic tie-ups with companies/organizations and prepare special Shari'a package/product offers.
  • In partnership with Products & Segments, analyse, define, recommend, implement and follow up market intelligence, and marketing plans in order to meet corporate banking strategic objectives;
  • In partnership with Product & Segments, introduce customer segments for Corporate Islamic banking with view to provide more focus to products and services offering;
  • In partnership with Products & Segments, introduce a unique segment proposition for each segment introduced with the view to increase the number of customers in the Bank;
  • Identify training needs recommend guide rotate monitor and follow up in order to improve staff competencies
  • Direct and follow up with internal stakeholders on implementing of audit comments in order to avoid repeated criticism
  • Ensuring the appropriate management of all the staff in terms of work load, attendance, KPIs, mentoring, training.

​A good first degree in Banking or Finance and preferably Islamic Banking.  A MA or MBA is desirable.

​At least 12 Years of experience in Islamic Banking with solid experience in Corporate Banking.
