Major responsibilities include timely review of Corporate and Retail Finance Documentations including Sharia’a contract agreements for all customers of CORBD, Retail and RMD Divisions. Creation of security such as purchase of assets, legal mortgage, commercial mortgage, pledge of shares, joint registration of vehicles etc… Support in Credit Administration related works, including updating of various periodic reports for internal monitoring purposes.

  • Ensure that the entire Credit and management stipulation made in the approvals are taken care while preparing documentations.
  • Ensure that all retail applications are approved according to the retail credit policy guideline.
  • Review all credit comments, MCC/CCB etc…
  • CB minutes for accuracy in terms of clarifications of the approved proposals.
  • Ensure perfection of creation of security Legal Mortgage, Commercial Mortgage etc…
  • Ensure that the Sharia’a contract agreements are made according to the approval.
A Diploma in an analytical subject or the equivalent is essential. A degree is preferred. Islamic Banking Qualification is also preferred.
At least 5-10 years in handling of corporate documentations including working in credit administrations and Operations with an excellent knowledge in Core Islamic Banking process and documentations. An excellent working knowledge of the Bank’s policy and procedures is also required. The ability to organize and conduct periodic verification and reviews of security documents at across the branches is essential. Good training abilities and the ability to conduct branch support activities, especially during contingencies for posting /cancellation of transactions directly in Ethix Core/Finance systems.

Provide line management (Regional and Branch Managers) with independent appraisals concerning risk management and controls and along with the branch management implement comprehensive plans to improve and bridge operational controls and risk mitigates
