The Sales Star training programme has been developed to help staff from across different segments of the bank to refine their sales and cross-selling skills in promoting the bank’s products and services, with the aim of increasing business volume and improving the bank’s overall profitability. In total, 10 National Bank of Oman employees benefited from the Sale Star tuition over a three-day period.
National Bank of Oman’s Academy of Excellence has been consistently delivering a diverse mix of high-quality technical and soft-skill courses aimed at nurturing talent through applicable training, as well as personal and career development initiatives.
Mr. Nasser Al Hajri, General Manager and Chief Human Resource Officer at National Bank of Oman, said: “Following a systematic sales model will make the selling of our products and services easy for the frontline staff. Programs, such as Sales Star, have been designed based on the business needs of the bank. We are consistently aligning ourselves with the business so that the strategic objectives of the bank are met successfully.”
One of the Sales Star trainees said: “These three days were definitely very productive and it will go a long way in improving my sales output and achieving my targets.”
Another participant remarked: “The program was highly engaging with real-life examples and the trainer’s style was very friendly and effective.”
The Bank’s Academy of Excellence offers a series of technical and behavioural workshops and courses to equip its employees with the relevant knowledge and skills to ensure National Bank of Oman stays ahead of its competitors across all departments.
